Parque el Palmaral – Alicante Park

Posted By Jan

After numerous occasions of mentioning to my husband that, ‘We must explore that place one day’ whilst driving past the park on our way towards Alicante Town, we finally decided to stop on the way back.

We parked the car in the slip road alongside the park and once inside, found that we were virtually the only visitors. What a charming park it is. Located on a stretch of land running parallel to the sea, it’s not very wide, but long and full of beautiful tropical trees, plants and flowers.

With lots of benches situated in quiet shady spots, pretty wooden bridges over the various water features and a lovely little waterfall that you can walk behind, a stroll or picnic in this park is delightful and we will be returning again, perhaps on the next occasion to take advantage of the small rowing boat hire. View the video I took of our visit and see for yourselves.
